Please join me on Sunday October 19th from 1-3pm to celebrate my exhibit ‘Queen Kitty City’ in New Rochelle.
The reception is happening during the New Rochelle ArtsFest 2025 - spend the day celebrating all the visual and performing arts the city has to offer and maybe even check out some of the architecture depicted in my works in real life!
This show features many site-specific paintings where I hope to show you New Rochelle - the Queen City of the Sound - via a colorful and playful interpretation with cats, birds and a heavy dose of whimsy. The journey begins on Glen Island at the end of the 1800s, exploring a magical weekend seaside resort, and ends up with some of the city’s iconic landmarks: the Children’s Library, the ‘K’ building, Pioneer building and the Coal and Lumber building. Travel along with me and see how some of the characters have escaped the confines of my paintings as brightly colored laser cut forms!
